Swimming with Whales!

Well Boys and Girls, the wife and I are going on the adventure of a life time. 6 days on a 125 diving yacht 80 miles off Dominican Republic. We will be swimming with Humpback Whales and other adventures (no scuba). If you don't hear from me by 9 April, call Jonah!

I did a bunch of snorkeling in Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands
(there's little to no virgins ) Hawaii & Cozumel areas
it's a blast, especially with a group, that can watch you back

you're not the top of the food chain out there

Sounds like a blast! I've seen right whales swim by Flagler beach pier. The only thing I have swam with is a blacktip shark, too close for comfort.

We were scuba diving in the Bahamas a few weeks ago. Saw two James Bond movie wrecks (Thunderball and Never Say Never) and swam with a bunch of sharks. Very cool.

I’m the one on the left in the bottom photo with the blue fins.

When I was in the Army I got certified for scuba in the Red Sea.......there are some fugly looking sharks in that ocean. Have FUN!!!

had the pleasure to visit it in the past didn't see much when I was there.

Been a long time scuba diver - Master Diver since 86. Been diving all over the world and with many forms of sea life - haven’t swam with the whales though. Always wanted to do so with Orcas. Enjoy, keep your head about you and stay safe.

What a life changing experience!!!! Just got off the boat and I have a few HOURS of video to edit. I will post video when I get home and edit. I will say I was close enough to touch them and they were curious enough to swim right up to check us out! Without a doubt the most awesome thing I have EVER done! 100 miles out at sea!
