I got this tach last year and wanted to hook it up. I read that some tachs need some sort of sending unit. Others hook up similar to the tick tock tac. I need some help with the hookup, thanks.
Thanks, I got it on Ebay, the guy was not going to use it, since he did not have any Mopars and had no way to test it, so I got it for $100, thought it was worth it.
to hook it up ......im not familiar with that particular tach....but if its anything like a 70 tic toc, youll need a "key on" hot wire going to the fuse box...and the other wire goes to the neg (-) side of the coil....prob is...which wire goes where....the light just gets wired into the dash lights, and the WHOLE THING should get ground thru the dash .
see if you can find a wire diagram that shows the tach wiring for those years, and see if the wire colors match.i have a set for my 67 but dosnt show any tach wiring.
