Tesla Owner Blows Up Car After Discovering Cost To Fix Battery

I think their (I can't say) whole plan
is to make cars too expensive
to even own
forcing the compliant types, inner-shitty dwellers
to ride the bus or Ubber nonsense, a cab etc.
all live in concrete & asphalt jungle, in apartments
all like lab-RATS, or the complient lil' sheep etc. etc. etc.

they'd just assume 'have no cars at all'
kill millions of good-paying jobs, even the taxes they get from them
all centered around 'the cars'
the fuel, lubricants, plastics, gas stations etc. etc. etc.
& they really are totally clueless, all to appease a climate accord
in some foreign lands

USA is or was, built on the ability to have transportation/s
affordable transportation & the freedom to drive anywhere
& everywhere, without the need to stay over/wait
to recharge your car after 300-400 miles
or it being a serious fire hazard, that can't be extinguished easily
or way too expensive to own buy & now repair
something as simple as batteries

let alone "the price of said cars"
to expensive for many/most common flok to want or afford

that almost nobody wants or needs
said people just doing it, to appease their lobbyists
get browny points from eco-N----

it won't go over well in fly over country or rural America

fucken' IDIOTS

Preach , I’m with ya!

Manufacturing EVs is an environmental disaster from the start. Powering them off gas or coal power plants does nothing to enhance their environmental footprint over a gas burner. Environmentalists will never admit it though.
Your wrong sir electricity is free. There is no pollution when they make an EV.
And lithium mines don’t hurt the environment LOL.

Hello… I’m calling today because your car warranty is about to expire… Oh really, which one… What car do you have… I have a Tesla ev … Click.

That actually raises an interesting point. Tesla’s battery warranty is typically 8 years and between 100 and 150k miles depending on the model ( must retain 70% of original capacity). I wonder if any of those companies do cover the battery pack in any of those extended warranty plans? Probably expensive if so.

Just the title of this thread made me laugh!! Maybe the majority of the ones buying them figure they won't keep them long enough to worry about that crap?

Guy i know just bought a nissan leaf.
Knowing it was going to need batteries soon.

Turns out the batteries cost more than he paid for the car.

He can get about 40 to 50 miles out of it before he has to plug it in and recharge.

Yeah....Imagine if gasoline powered cars needed an engine, transmission and axle replacement at 8 years of ownership. Who would buy one of those ?

But its green energy. There was no carbon/emissions of any sort produced to make it. Just look at the progressive people who are buying them. They can't be wrong.

Ok, this is about someone blowing up their pos car......and not about politics......k?

That would be an expensive pos car.
Yup....and IMO.....it is one expensive car for it to be a pos in such a short time!! A buddy came over with an S model and offered it to me to drive it but I politely refused saying 'not to temp me' lol. I know they accelerate like crazy but didn't care. Heck, my newest vehicle is a 97 diesel and haven't spent hardly any money on it since I got it in around 2001! Hey, my 95 Dakota hasn't cost me much either and I got that thing when my dad passed on. Biggest expense on that thing was a new steering rack. Hate to think my dad paid for me to have it but that's pretty much what happened and have had it since 98.

We have a auto repair shop next door to my office & I asked them if they would work on electric cars & I was told that all they would do is brakes. Anything beyond that, he tells them to go to the dealer.

If someone brought an EV to my place to work on.....I'd gut laugh! :D
