Colorado River is less than a mile as a crow flys. Needles California was a booming railroad town before I-40 on old Route 66. If it stayed 110 or below, no one would be able to afford to live here because the Californians would have bought everything up.How in the hell did that place get inhabited?
I did 15 miles of 7% 2 weeks ago in 110 n it stayed at 196. But there really is a difference when you add another 10-15°. We'll hit 126-130 about 4 times this summer. 2 ways out of town. Both are up 7° grades. One is the grade all truck manufacturers use to rate their trucks pulling ability.Nice!! Hardcore heat for sure but you seem to have the cooling system up to the task.... My torture test for cooling systems is climbing Old Priest Grade on a 100 degree day...
