If I don’t sell it by Friday, I’m taking it to the crusher.
I wait until Friday and offer scrap price.

Often I have to explain what is involved with scrapping a car.

Remove the fuel tank and tires. Load it on a trailer. Time spent to go to the yard. Most are closed on the weekends.
 
Well I said that in my add. If not sold by the third week on January they go in the bin. But I was offering the bikes for free. All the fluids will be removed. And I will remove items that I think may have value later.
Seems a pity to deep six what were very good engines.
However, I did not get much sympathy at the chain saw shop with my old unit.
But, on the bright side, many see value in my 77 Dodge van. I hope so, there is about $15,000 worth of new bits in it.
But it does the same work as a $250,000 Mercedes.
