It's not the color on my avatar, that's an older pic, will post some new ones after it's all back together.

Back to the paint names-codes: Plymouth and Dodge had different names for some colors with the same code in the same year. The film cars were painted in the 1971 Y3 - Plymouth called it "Curious Yellow", Dodge called it "Citron Yella". Yellow-greenish. See the color charts Dodge-Plymouth from different years. In the original cinema version, the Laserdisk AND the German TV version the color was 1969 Y2-like.

One of the saddest scenes on celluloid.

That and Kowalski's Vanishing Point. Some solice that it was Camero getting the crunch. A good choice by producers. They fold like a Walmart lawn chair in a mild wind.
