The Daytona 500 was today

Today is the 25th year Dale Earnhardt passed away too by the way, I was only 1 years old….

still better than any Sunday TV evangelist! When they bring back the mopar I think the racing will get better. It's the teams that are ruining the sport, each owner should only have 1 entry. I think that would take a lot of the carnage out of wrecking somebody so your other car can win!

I'm thinking that a few hours of Jimmy Swaggart preaching down to me after he was banging hookers the night before is better than watching the three Toyota pacecars holding back the field for 45 laps!

Ridiculous. 25+ cars, all going the same speed, lap after lap. I can't watch this garbage.
Rather watch this mess than watch one or two cars lap the field 2 or 3 times. When the finish includes more than 20 cars and some going backwards across the finish line....well, who could ask for more

They're injected now??
Yup....everything is electronic now and no more analog dash. The bodies are also tougher too and seems to be able to take a harder hit and keep going. They also can shut off at any moment just like the street cars do at times.

What I can’t get understand is the name “Toyota” and the word “racing”, those 2 just do not belong in the same sentence.
Exactly what I muttered when I saw a f%#**ing Toyota as the pace car of "The Great American Race"
Just another IROC "race" with shots of wives, girlfriends, 2nd cousins etc. No Taylor Swift?

To me the best part of what I watched (MAYBE 10 minutes) was the Air Force captain singing the national anthem (WITHOUT showboating!)
