Well how about THAT. An article that only told a small part of a story....in short, they wrote a bullshit article that was misleading and incomplete.
The friggin media....

We expect nothing less anymore.

That goes both ways with the stories about EVs burning and 27K battery replacements

I am thinking that in two years and three months all this **** will be over and we will have a choice again. Someone is also misinformed as to Buick and EV's. They are not going that route which has pissed GM off in a buyout way. So we will see.

Our society changed when we got cars. We became more mobile, we spread out. We started disconnecting from each other. It became easier to fool us as a population. We didn't meet at the local spot anymore to talk over what was happening. TV and radio made it worse; we stopped seeing each other's faces and body language. Computers and cell phones were the coup de grace. We became a commodity that was wholly owned and controllable for the most part.
Killing ICE will complete the journey to the dark side until we declutter our lives with those crutches and start to see each other face to face and talk to each other again. If we ever do.......it may be too late to go back. Young people don't give a **** about what Boomers have to say. We don't give a rat's *** what they think either.

I agree with you on every point but the automobile, it allows us to travel to see people face to face more easily. We didn’t have to rely on train schedules if we needed to travel more than 20 miles.

Because dinosaurs like us don't live forever. Furthermore, if you're last through the gate you have a hell of a battle to catch up. Best to embrace the technology now and be a leader not a follower.
I get your point but the fact remains, the minerals that have to be mined to produce batteries are more detrimental to our eco system than producing fossil fuels. We have enough oil under American soil to sustain this nation for the next 100 years. What is the big hurry and why shove it down America’s throat without any consideration? I think it is in part the demoncratic strategy of more government control with the goal being socialism for America. Stolen Elections Matter!
