I know a guy that does mobile bodywork, not sure how it is legal but I guess it is, he sprays water borne and has an inflatable paint booth, the work comes out perfect, like he did it in a shop.... the inflatable paint booth is insane, you drive the car right in, it blows up in 3 minutes... He has a simple new dodge service van, has a compressor in it, mixing station, some tools, and the booth...
He did a job for me, one of my guys was doing a service call and forget a utility body door open, he banged it off the customers car.. I called him, he met me there with in the hour, in less than 2 hours he was packing up his booth and moving on, he charged me $75 an hour for 2 hours and $115 in paint and materials, so for under $200 I didn't have to call my insurance company, the customer was happy, he fixed 3 other marks on her car while he was there that was in my price, and I was happy it only cost me $200 and that she was willing to let him fix it. I told her, if you don't like how he fixes it, I will take it to a body shop and have them do it and pay for everything, she agreed, and looked at it when he was done she was happy..
I gave her a gift card to a local restaurant (where I went and had lunch while he was doing the body work), and older her if the work doesn't stand up I will remix it for as long as she owns the car...

SO I am a fan of mobil body work, when done right..

Thanks, Al. I was going to say; "no doubt quality work", but then seventy left his post...lol.

Had a guy run into me and then get out and yell 'why did you hit me'. I had been sitting for 20 minutes waiting for a tow since my crap work truck died and told him so. He didn't care. Even showed him the truck was dead in the water. Dumb forks.....

Gee Al,
Maybe I should have brought my 63 Polara to the "Parking lot Auto-Body guy" instead of wasting 4 1/2 years and $6,300 and got totally screwed...
(Remember? that was $5,100 for body work and the $1,200 for paint, LOL)
That "parking lot guy" gets the job done at least!

LOL
