Why not just say the size of Hawaii, or a third the size of South Carolina? It's so hard to keep up - I can't even convert Imperial gills to US pecks without a conversion table.

Now we have another new unit of measure to add to the list alongside Washing Machine and Connetticut..... 'Building Size' ....as reported on a NASA story about a near miss today.

I heard it used yesterday on a program about whales.
