No kidding.....
New trucks look dumb as **** with the drive-in movie theater sized grille and headlight design like those.

Ever think they could build such a fugly truck....? Just add more stupid lights to the plastic cheese grater grill ,gotta include a set of rubber band tires on oversized wheels and some lighted wheel wells for the complete look .. Squat the rear end and a big oversized chrome tip on the exhaust with the pipe cut down to blow in the rocks.

I personally think the last year for a nice, clean Dodge Ram front end was 2002. When Dodge went to this design with the 1997 Dakota, it was beautiful...tough, aggressive but clean. No funky-shaped headlight cavities, excessively snouty grille or other namby-pamby crap.

I like the 94-2002 look, which was a breakthrough with the more ‘semi’ styling that Ford and Chevy copied. I really like the next gen (I may be slightly biased) the best, similar to previous years but with a little smoother look. My 2005 hauling a camper. Yes I need to clean the brake dust off my front wheels… :D

My good friend used to be a salesman at the local Ford dealership. One afternoon, in 2000, he called me to tell me to visit his dealership after work, knowing that I had been considering buying a pickup. He told me "my" new truck had come in on trade. I arrived to find a 2000 Ram Sport Club Cab in bright red. The truck was loaded with options, and only had about 10,000 miles on it. I ended buying it for a lot less than a new one.
I lowered the front end 2", and the rear 4" , and put a matching tonneau cover on it. I used to get a lot of comments on it. I think this series was the last of the great looking Dodge/Ram pickups. The newer ones all got too big looking. Now, there is no longer a choice of a single cab truck.

I'm more into this style of Power Wagon myself
