Up like a rocket, down like a feather.Nothing unusual, someone can fart in the middle east and gas goes up. Any refinery that has a rumor of something wrong, gas goes up. It goes up immediately and takes weeks or months to come down.
Ethanol? Good riddance. That corn should have been used in the food supply anyways.
Yeah, that stuff is more used for animal feed (which shows up in our pork and chicken costs, for example) among other uses. They grow a lot of it here. We snagged a couple ears last year from the field next door and it was AWFUL.
Up like a rocket, down like a feather.
Since we became primarily energy independent, the fuel prices have been much steadier. It was in the high $2 to mid $3 range for quite awhile. Lately though it has crept up and up here while the rest of the country has seen it stay about the same. WHY ?? Really, No bullshit answers, just a fair reason would be nice.
Oh that's good gas, I envy you$2.20 up in NE Tennessee. I pay $3 for ethanol-free 93 octane premium for the critters.
I think I'll continue this over at the Political Forum now...
I envy you too. Unobtainium around here. You can get non ethanol 87 here but it's a buck more a gallon$2.20 up in NE Tennessee. I pay $3 for ethanol-free 93 octane premium for the critters.
What is premium by you?$4.50 around here. More if you want premium. What a joke... albeit not a funny one....
