tool for removing windshield trim

hi can anyone post a photo of the tool used to remove the outer windshield trim on my 70 sport sat also is it best to insert the tool between roof, pillar and trim or between the glass and trim

Use it from the glass side. This is what I have

On a windsheild installed with a gasket the tool will need to go between the gasket and the trim and you won't catch the edege of the glass, these can be a bit harder to remove than glass installed with sealant.
