I just received a torque converter from Turbo Action and the hub will not fit into the crank. 727, 440, steel crank, any ideas?

Early (Pre-65ish) torque converter, and a late crank. I had an issue with a 63 225 and a later style torque converter. I had to have to converter custom made; late internals (input splines different 68 and later), and an early converter housing.

Crankshaft had previous torque converter bolted to it? Had problem bolting converter to manual crank same problem converter nose would not fit back of crank. Turned down nose to fit did not have to remove much material and never caused a problem. Figured this to be typical being automatic cranks are not drilled for manual transmission.
