Torsion bars

Hello Everyone,
A question about torsion bars, I was given a pair of bars that I want to put in my '66, but what I am curious of is how I can tell which is the correct way to install them. Right from left, front from back, etc.?

They should have numbers on them, this is the back, and there should be an r or l. Also numbers are 777 or 778 and the even numbers is the right side. This is if memory serves me, so hold off installing them until someone else chimes in.

OK, that is what I have been told from others so I think that would be close to right.

I spent many years writing service manuals for the big three. Even numbers are always on the right side, odd numbers on the left.
