I am not sure if a transbrake valve body be installed in a Torqueflite with the Pushbuttom shifter on the dash that has a cable for the shifting and a cable for the Park lever. Any one know about this ????

Thanks, Mike

What do you got now Mike?

We rigged '65 cable shifter for a newer transmission with a transbrake, can't remember exactly what we did but we converted it to a single cable instead of having two. We modified the shifter itself, used our own cable instead of the oem ones. Once we got it to a single cable we had to adjust the length of the arm on the transmission to get length right so it would go into park and low.

CRT, A&A and Keith Long (727specialist) all have push button trans brake valve bodies available.

Mine doesn't have a trans brake. But my sons 62 does. Any good builder could do one.
