trans ???

ok in a month ill be getting a 1964 polara. it looks to be a 500. its a 318 poly (which is cracked i believe). can that trans be bolted to a big block or small block only? its a push button car also. if you wanna know more just ask thanks.:confused:

that trans. will only work with a small block engine, good news it will work with a 70's 360 which can be mildly built to 350-400 hp.

cable shift 318 torqueflite, bolt up, but please put in disclaimer that the torque converter needs the external balance weights( of the 360) welded to early converter. very important.

sorry for not mentioning the balance weights for 360, i wasn't thinking. i always use balanced flexplates.

Does the mancini racing automatic trans they offer have the ball and truion or slip yoke? I can't find that info. Also thanks for the help guys
