transmission question

I've got a 72 charger with a 440 and a 727 tranny. It's time to rebuild the tranny any suggestions. I've a 410 posi rearend with a 3000 stall and shift kit. It would be nice to light 'em up and take it on the freeway under 4500 rpm. Any suggestions?

Change your rear gears or get a overdrive unit.
I'm looking into several options myself before I put my car back together.
