Going for stealthly stock look underhood with everything painted turquoise. What are the options for the 240 that are available?

Valve covers don’t add power, they just add style. Unless you need pushrod clearance, you can’t go wrong with finned aluminum valve covers. I personally like cal custom the best, polished with black between the fins looks great. But black with polished fins, engine color with polished fins, polished with engine color between the fins looks great too.

I went with the cast ones from trick flow as I figure they would be the least likely to give headaches. Have not built the motor yet so can’t give any feedback

Frank- which ones? I’m assuming the turquoise? What is the brand? I’ll take them assuming they’ll fit.
Thanks!

You have to be careful, the rocker stands are extra wide. I had to clearance a set of m/ts

Can you use stock valve covers if you use Comp Cams Pro Magnum Shaft Mount Roller Rocker arms?

Here's a stealthy look for a 440 / 505 stroker using Trickflow 240's and the original 1969 valve covers, Hughes 1.5 roller rockers. Only had to clearance the inside baffle, otherwise fit perfect!

THIS. I also shaved off the logo and was hoping to use the stock covers (67 383), but its a matter of finding them at this point.

I'll do some checking/calls and get back to you. Thanks!
So a search of T/f said they fit with stock covers. Hmmm. I called my engine guy and he said he had to open bolts holes to get them on which I can verify.
