I didn't like having black wiper blades on my B body. So, I bought a set of 15 inch TRICO Classic Original Styling wiper blades. The package is the similar to any new wiper blades. These blades are metal with a brushed finished like the original blades were and are a bit shorter than the Duralast blades (not sure what length the Duralast blades were maybe 16 inch).

They slide into the wiper arm and are held in by a small, round nub that fits into a hole in the blade to secure it. They're easy to install and look great. Not bad for $20. Looks like the real deal; see for yourself.

Local NAPA had them for $8.65 each.

I hope I never have to find out if they keep the rain off the windshield of my Coronet. :sunny:

Pretty sure I don't have to worry about any rain down here in Altus, so I am all about the look. Would love to see some of that mythical wet stuff, but it has not been looking good. Guess we will see when I get my RR here in July.

Sorry about the desert conditions. I heard it was hot today. What's the Farmers Almanac predict for your area?

Exciting news about the new car. Where's it coming from? Post some pics when you can.

I think it was last week we hit 106, today was 96, and tomorrow we are supposed to be over 100 again. It's not looking good for the time being with the drought. City water levels are not looking good and my yard is starting to crack up pretty bad. It is what it is though. Mother Nature will do what it wants.

As far as the RR, I bought it while I was in Korea. I have had it for about a year and a half. I have been long distance restoring it while it has been in Florida getting the body work done and I have been tracking down parts. Been making trips back home to FL every once in awhile to do whatever work I can on her. And the time has almost finally come. I will be posting everything when I get some dates and my leave gets approved to go back home.

Here's your depressing long range forecast.
