Hi all,

I'm restoring a 69 superbee. There is molding that runs up the center pillar on the inside. There are two of them that snap in on the front and back of the pillar. They have a cross section that looks like the letter "F". The Chrysler parts book calls them weather cord (23-113-45). They are made of the same material and mount the same as the winlace that goes from the the top of the door to the floor. I found the windlace in Restoration Speciaties catalog, but no one that I can find has the weather cord. Any suggestions? You can see the progress of my car at : www.dutchessperformance.com. I have it home now.

Thanks

I don't know but these people may be able to help you.
I know the pieces you are looking for, I checked in the parts book and I also have a 69 Superbee coupe.

Thank you Jeff. I did contact Restoration Specialties. They have supplied me with quite a few hard to find items for my car. They were able to supply me with weather cord that runs down the door seam. But they don't have the one for the door pillar. They don't even know where to start looking. I may be able to rework the ones I have, but I would prefer new. If you come across anyone please let me know. If you want to send me your email in case I find someone. I still have a little time before I have to commit. Thanks again.

Blake
