Hi guys,
I have a button under the dash to the left of the drivers side vent pull thingy.
Its silver and looks from the age of the car, 69 Charger RT.
Pushing it does nothing. Next step is to track the wires.
Is this something factory or something added.
Sorry about the average photo.

is it an on/off switch or momentary?
I added a switch around the same place to disable the power windows, like a power window lock. it goes to the power window relay that is pretty much right above the switch.
If it was a rotory knob, then might be front/rear speaker fader.

Not factory
Does your car start with the key like it should ?
Maybe something to do with the NS switch ? Hold the button and turn the key to start ?
Does the horn work from the center of steering wheel ? Extra horn button ?
Fog lights sometime in the past ??

The front rear speaker fader is on the other side of the vent handle.. It turns to fade in and out.

Horn works as per normal. Key turns to start as per normal.
Maybe it was a push to start before the alarm and immobilizer was fitted.
Think I need to trace any wires.

No power windows.
