Unibody??

Hopefully you don't need to do a frame off restoration, but I have done it and have the bills to prove it!

B Series Dodge vans are Unibody. Just a sub-frame up front or K member or K frame if you want to call it that. . Yeah, and lot of flex and vibration and noise going down the street!

Hey Tony
Not a 62, but a 67gtx. Unibody also.
Here’s what I did. I did a rotisserie sandblast with medium crushed glass, fixed all the rusted spots, sprayed it with rust encapsulator, skim coat of body filler where needed, then a coat of epoxy primer. I used truck bed liner for the interior floor and under coating.
I’m not done but here’s some progress shots. This is my first build, and I’m learning with you.
And I added frame connectors.

Sorry for the dumb question, what's posi rear ends?
Posi traction. Has springs and slip clutches in the 3rd member to allow both rear wheels to pull or drive the same. When you do a burnout both wheels spin. Conversely in an open diff when you do a burn out only one tire spins.

I am using Harbor freight jackstands and 2x4s on a gravel driveway...
POR-15 everything and weld in patches
We work with what we have. I started the same way. Whatever body work was done that day had to painted in case it rained. I turned out some great work and I'm sure you will too. Just a couple of pic's from one of my projects.
