Unique "Character" of your car?

My color combination is unusual but I like it. Silver body, black vinyl top, blue leather interior.

My '68 J code GTX was a race car, then a family car with a 440, then when the engine blew a head gasket, the paint was stripped and it sat in a storage unit for 30 years. It still bears the marks from all of these including a trailer hitch, but it does have a hemi back in it.

Mine probably paint & 60's day 2 style
has Org. style LL1 color but with 'GTX-esk' style
blacked out below the bottom body line
& a red stripe
a 6bbl Liftoff/pinned on A12 fiberglass hood
with a Low-deck org. 383/based 6bbl engine
60's style kidney shaped 'Polished slots'
& adj. Buckets with head rests in the interior,
no more bench seat
sort of a best of compilation of the 68-69-70 RR

I'm sure most here has seen it before
in both renditions, when it was sinister-looking
Ultra Flat Black Paint not a primer or hotrod black
(in waiting 12 years, for the LL1 paint)

& when it was finally painted in the
OE LL1 Surf Turquoise Metallic

How cool! A car that tells a story of its history. It almost makes it cooler that way than pristine restored!

My '62 Polara 500 (top of the line Dart) was ordered without any options for the exception of a clock. No power steering, power brakes, power windows, no ac and no radio. But the original owner had to have a clock!
