I know there`s an additive for the oil for older mopars (zddp).what about the leaded gas?can anyone chime in.Thanks Greg
real lead actually had tetraethyl lead in it. its been illegal to sell it for many years and i used it also. i use unleaded exhaust seats, stainless valves and quench dome pistons in both my 440's."real lead"by 104 worked prety good in a 440 charger i had.not sure if it is still available though.i just convert all my engines to hardened vlv seats now.
Is Marvel Mystery Oil® safe to use in today’s “high-tech” cars?
Yes! Marvel Mystery Oil is completely safe in today’s high-tech cars and provide the same benefits as it has since 1923-cleaner engines, upper cylinder lubrication, reduced acid and sludge build up, improved fuel economy, clean and lubricated fuel systems and many more!

I run 2 gallons of avgas with 10 gallons of unleaded for the lead. It also makes the exhaust gas smell better.I use MMO in a pinch.
The 100 stuff. I get 10 gallons at a time. I have ran 50/50 avgas/unleaded on occasion. The engine starts faster and I notice it runs better. This unleaded crap we are forced to run is exactly that, crap.Interesting....Are you referring to 100L/L or the 100/130(green)? Makes sense, being gallon for gallon the AVgas has a bunch more TEL per gallon than automotive grade ever used before they phased it out.
