I just got the news..
Gary Rossington, the guitarist of Lynyrd Skynyrd has died...joining those who have already gone to be with God eternal.
I'll be favoring the Southern Rock selections in my Classic Rock music playlists this evening.

Gary Rossington, the guitarist of Lynyrd Skynyrd has died..

This seems appropriate. From a band I've always liked, first heard in 1976 at a Catholic High School CYO gym concert, and early on was often referred to as "the best Zepplin cover band"...until they had their own debut album, and several since, that met with some notable success.
Randy Jackson and ZEBRA, and I'll dedicate this to Gary Rossington. Rest in Peace man, and Rock It Out in Heaven!
