I think the end vamp kinda has elements of "Gator Country".
 
Saw Primus with Fishbone in 1991.

Probably about 750-1000 people in the audience.

Uncanny resemblance in that tune also.

You can take almost any 50s, 60s, 70s song and research it's background and find that it goes back several generations. Fun stuff!
