What ever became of this car? The guy that owned Motor City Originals in Detroit used to own it. I kinda remember that health issues in his family forced him to close down, maybe 25 years ago. The car disappeared after that.

To give credit where credit is due, Pops1967GTX originally posted the picture. I identified it and gave some history. A Canadian contemporary of Petrie's was Don Cloak, also from Toronto area. He campaigned a black 1963 Plymouth Savoy Max Wedge called "Cloak Hanger". I do not have a picture of it, though. I ran into him a few years back, still racing at Cayuga. He had a Hemi RoadRunner then.
