I saw one of these in action the other day, seems like it was a good idea back in the day. If your plugs look like this, then you have something else to worry about.

I had something like that many years ago but after playing with it, I got worried that I might not get all the abraisive material out of the recessed area and it might get loose in the cylinder and scar things up. I know they used to be popular decades Ago.
 
Used one back in HS but had a window kind of like a min-special purpose blasting cabinet.
