Way to present an engine for sale

I will be removing a very nice running moderately built 340 (x heads) within the next few months, and am looking for some thoughts on how to prepare it for sale.

Thinking a good video showing it starting up and running with oil pressure, etc. A newspaper for proof of the date. Maybe compression test results too.

How have you guys done this?

That's what I would do.

"Can hear run" always helps.

"Ran when parked"- not so much.

I agree you're on the right track. Cold start up video at the tailpipe to show no smoke on start up.

If I can't hear it run....it's a core. Shoot good video, or sell while still in car

If you can leave it in the car. The video sounds good if you cant but make sure they can see a date on a news paper. And have the paper with the car.
