Looking for someone or a carb shop to rebush a throttle shaft in a WCFB. I've noticed fuel leaking out of the right primary throttle shaft immediately after fuel leaves the squirter. Not looking for a full rebuild just drilling/reaming and installing a new bushing

If the engine is not running raw fuel will wick out the throttle shafts. Its not a sealed area.

It runs fine. I can agree to a point that fuel may wick from area but this is an all out running flow from just the volume from the squirter. I've never had a carb with this issue.

If it starts and runs fine leave it alone. If gas is not coming out the shaft when it is running I would not be to concerned.

Ill be investigating this further this weekend. I wont be surprised if the flow is much less while running but will be watching very closely while opening the throttle.

When it's running the vacuum will draw the fuel into the engine, it shouldn't come out the throttle shaft.

Is the shaft worn, or is the problem with worn shaft holes? If it leaks that much, it could also be drawing in air and affecting your idle settings.
