They buzzed the house today. We're across the valley from the Air Force Academy, and they have graduation this week. Today they were scoping things out. Tomorrow practice, then the show Thursday. I sponsored a cadet. Those kids are the best. My cadet has a 4.0 gpa and is going for his masters at Purdue in Materials Engineering. Besides that they have to be excellent athletes. I taught my guy how to drive a stick-shift Mopar.

We are having thunderstorms all week so they'll be flying low. The AFA is in a valley at the start of the Rockies. So they buzz the stadium then climb and turn over my house.

I give my cadets money that they stick in their caps. they throw them then kids scramble and pick them up. Their caps are no longer a part of their uniform. Now they are promoted.

I saw the blue angels at Peterson last august. They were incredible. The t birds must be making some noise in the foothills buzzing up and down I25.

Was at my oldest grandson’s graduation party from high school, one of his classmates heads out to you end of June. Football scholarship, didn’t ask his major. At 6’4”, he’s a little big for a pilot; linebacker in high school.

I hope he gets used to the thin air quickly. Dizziness, headaches, and loss of night vision. There's a reason the US Olympic teams train here. You go anywhere else and you never get out of breath. Congrats on getting in. That's a major accomplishment! If he needs aything let me know. Doolie Day Out is when the 4th years (It's backwards, freshmen are called 4th years) get away for a few hours. I give them some cash and take them to a supermarket for munchies. We are very accustom to seeing cadets here. PM me and I'll give you a phone number if he wants.

I am a great fan of the T-Birds as well as a retired AF Veteran. They are my favorite demo team, with the Blue Angels being a very close second to them. Both teams put on quite the show, so never a disappointment with either...cr8crshr/Bill:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::usflag::usflag::usflag:

Sometimes they get just a little close to the roof when they're out here at JBLM.....

The sound they make when they're this close is just plain absolutely AWESOME!!!!!

When I lived in Wichita, seeing the B1Bs doing a turn and lighting the afterburners was impressive. I was once out mowing the lawn and along came a 747 with the space shuttle on its back.
