Donny, you couldn't be more wrong on this. Paint is super expensive but buying it is wayyyyy cheaper than paying for the paint job. I've done EVERYTHING so far, and plan on it going forward, on my superbird build. I even built the fabricated rear end housing and the front suspension. I'll be painting this car as well as doing all the bodywork, wiring, engine work, fabrication, interior, you name it. I'd rather invest in tools that I can use forever than someone else's labor that I'll use once. I could have done it at 20 as well, because if I didn't have the tools or knowhow, I always knew someone who did. I think alot of so called hobbyists are just lazy today. Part of true hot rodding is learning new skills and acquiring new tools. If I can do all this, anyone can.

I also built the building it's housed in, construction, siding, roofing, electrical, everything. Those of you who preach the can't do attitude need a few lessons from those of us that can do it all and do it right!!! Rant off, lol.
