Quote from the local newspaper sunday March 3rd"For the past 16 years Wells Motor Company on US27 in Avon Park Florida has kicked off the many activities of speedweek(12 hours of Sebring 13th-16th March)with their annual car show on the Saturday preceding the race,this year on March 9th.As the grand-daddy of Highlands County Car shows,the event has grown over the years to nearly 200 show cars and thousands of spectators.The show is a major draw because it is free to both the entrants and the public with abundant parking and the comfort of the air-conditioned showroom to escape the heat."Last year met Marvin Panch 61 Daytona winner with his Poniac there.

Hey eric383 warm up that sled,but don't feel to bad for us down here it's going down to 39 tonight.

I know 39 degrees feels cold to the locals. My mom lives in Tampa and a few years ago when FL had that cold winter we were visiting her and woke up to 32 degrees. We took her shopping that morning and you would have thought it was -10 by the way the locals were dressed. It was 45 at that time and I was fine with a sweatshirt but I did have to wear my long pants. I always get a weather report when I talk to her.

The show was great this morning about 200 cars good mix of models about 25 Mopars here's a few pictures.
