I have a 1970 roadrunner convertible that I’m building as a Hemi clone
In the past I’ve used 2 right or left hand, super stock springs They work great and there’s no wheel hop I’ve had issues with wheel hop with factory springs in the past with higher horsepower cars. Any suggestions on the best factory Springs? I don’t want use superstock springs due to being able to see the spring hangers.
Thanks

Well, I've 'stacked' my own leaf springs but never had wheel hop with factory stuff. Shocks are important too to control the spring. Can't help you with a store bought spring because I've never bought them....

St Louis Spring will make anything you want and generally by the next day. I stopped by one morning and ordered springs for my RR, they called that afternoon and were already done.

thanks for all the responses. Has anybody installed the 2 1/2 inch taller springs from leaf springs and suspension?

Not off the top of my head. It wasn't bad considering they came out of Kansas. Way better than Penn. Their site may show you shipping charges/delivery times variations. If not, contact them.

And to the extra arch question. I ordered the +2.5" units. My old ones had been re-arched two owners ago. The new ones raised it 1" from what I originally had. That will drop some as the springs settle in some. Plus with my car being a wagon, it has additional weight over the back end. I've also redone the front end too. Has 1.06" FF bars on it now. Had .880's with 58 years of time on them. Huge difference.

There may be a local spring shop in your area... do some research. No magic in making a spring.
