What am I doing wrong ?

This darn a/c motor is kickin my butt.i couldn't get blower fan Moyer to work so I removed tried to plug straight off battery just to see if I could get it to turn over. Nothing. So I got a nother motor off ebay. Same thing nothing. There are 4 wires 3 on plug and one ground ? I know I'm doing something wrong

Ok I got it. TEST light will not make motor run. But straight wire will. Happy day
