Today was cold again like the last couple of weeks.
The temp. was 7degrees and I went out to warm up my Dakoda. The doors were frozen again so I used a wooden wedge to open the drivers side. Got it running to warm it up and came back inside.
When I got back I found the doors locked. I guess my arm hit the lock on my way out from the first start.
So now my dakoda is warming up and I can't get in. yuck.
Hmm---where is my extra key?? This is a 98 that I bought new. I have extra keys somewhere
.
I found two keys in a desk and one of them was what I needed. (wow--after 19 years I found a spare key??).
This was a first with this car but it was the second time I have been reminded to always have a backup key/fob in a pocket when leaving a car.
