Nobody wants heads that are cracked, and have been planed already, a block with an ear missing and three cracks, plus bored out 60 over already, rear leaf springs that are flat because the car was stored off the ground but on the springs.....for over 20 years.......and a 73 intake that was butchered by the previous owner under the guise of freeing up the airflow. The torsion bars might be useful as garden stakes for a giant beanstalk. So nobody in the Northern New Zealand Mopar club would take them off your hands for free? Seems like somebody would, unless you really need that loaf of bread, I know times are tough for some people.
I have considered making a 440 block coffee table, but as the years pass, my interest in doing so diminishes.
It will take a truck load of them to recover the fuel cost. Free labor?
How much does it cost to send stuff from the south pole to the USA? How much does a loaf cost down in NZ? Maybe there's not a big market for antique Dodge parts around there. I'll take 'em if I can find a way...View attachment 1333391
Hey there @4speed68rt ....you can have the stuff for free if you want......just pay the shipping.
Or do you disagree because you think I'll get enough to buy more than one loaf?![]()
Nothing personal. You didn't give all those details. Sounds like scrap iron. Once it's gone, you will never miss it. You ought to be able to get $50 or so...Nobody wants heads that are cracked, and have been planed already, a block with an ear missing and three cracks, plus bored out 60 over already, rear leaf springs that are flat because the car was stored off the ground but on the springs.....for over 20 years.......and a 73 intake that was butchered by the previous owner under the guise of freeing up the airflow. I use a 4x4 that's about a foot. Sure is a lot lighter to move whenever I need to lolI have an old /6 head, I use it as a parking curb in the garage!
More than it's worth....probably around USD$6K ....and likely about $50 for scrap.....if I'm lucky. How much does it cost to send stuff from the south pole to the USA?
