What enhancements to do on a stock 318 head while off the car?

Most cruisers were 2 mouths to save gas for large municipalities, but pursuit and other special cars had the 4 barrels.

A38 vin.
I've seen some old early '70's black and green Fury and Polara cruisers with 2 barrel six bangers as motivation.

Too bad you are in New York, I have a set of #302 heads that are ready to go. Now that I decided to go big block I don’t need them you could have them for $125 but shipping would not even be worth it.

What has been done to the heads.

Sometimes cheap shipping through venues like Graingers or that other hardware firm can be obtained.

I'd be really surprised if it needed a valve job at that mileage. My bet is wire wheel the valves, a simple lap job with the Makita, and new valve seals. Were talking daily driver that runs smooth.
