I pulled my drivers seat in the 66 Charger to replace the seat belts and found an electrical connector and a ground under the carpet. What is it and what should it connect to? I found this electrical schematic on FBBO and I think it is showing the wires in question.

That wiring goes over to the console. Yes there is a ground wire screwed to the floor there.

Center console? It didn’t seem like it would make it there. Do you know where it connects (what part of the console do I need to disassemble)?

There are 2 rubber coated clips on the floor that hold the wiring. Basically right under the drivers seat straight left to the tunnel. See the break in the wiring covers on the rocker panel on the right? That’s where it comes across the floor. Then it turns forward and comes out by the console side lamps. See wiring in photos below.
