What is the best resale color for the B bodies?

Red would go well with a saddle tan interior, as would B5 or 7. My opinion only.
My favorite color scheme is gunmetal gray metallic with coral accent or two-tone (pink!?). It would look terrible on a 70 Coronet, lol.
My current GTX is factory red with saddle tan interior. I’ve been offered more for this car than any of the previous six.

GG1

With modern paint done high quality, about any metallic looks good. That GG1 would pop with Tan/Saddle interior. I don't think you could get Gold stripes on a 67 GTX? That would really make a Tan/Saddle interior pop. Not sure that would make for good resale though; too love/hate it.

I would no way go dark green on that 70 Coronet for resale.

If the OP's 70 Coronet is indeed Saddle interior, I'd think B5 would be the best choice after the ones he eliminated. Black probably the best resale if he wants to live with it and it's high quality.

Sassy Grass, late '70 would be cool with saddle interior. But too close to Sublime that he already owns.

Maybe. It's at a friend's house right now. Front is the buddy buckets but I've got a pair of white Challenger seats too. The exterior is mostly rust free but coming from New Mexico the interior is toasty!!! 383 2 barrell but i've got the 4 bbl intake and carb.

Black
Plum crazy
Lime green

Not necessarily in order, but an original black on black car can easily demand 25% more than any other color except purple and lime green. They command 15%-20% over every other color.

Purple and lime green are my least favorite colors.

That may be true.
In my case, black on black demands that I walk away, rapidly.
I've already had too many black cars. I still have two. Never, ever, again.
Fwiw, my black Dually had a tan interior. At least that wasn't black.

I forgot to mention. Purple anything is out. I'm a Kansas U. grad. We are crimson and blue. Our natural enemy is K State. Purple and white. I'm sure you all know this but as a young person we called purple Mopars Statutory Grape.

I'd go with Citron Yella/Curious Yellow a '71 color just to be obnoxious. I can't find a '70 Coronet in that color but here it is on a large car. I think I would tire of explaining it's the wrong year's color. Probably the opposite of a popular resale color. I'll paint something that color someday.

Wasn't that the correct name? Or maybe it was one they rejected, I can't remember for sure.

I LOVE '70 Coronets/Super Bees!!! Have you seen the one on BRYCECOLD's channel? Modern Hemi and six speed. The body looks like yours DeltaV.

The one I posted above is not mine, but I did look it over last year. You should get it!

To answer your resale question...I would say bright red, blues, or bronze colors available for '70 Coronets.

Resale Red is the best. Well, may be black but watch the interior color. Hang around Brown is a hard sell although I have seen some pretty brown cars. Teal is a cool color and not many made. High impact colors are pretty cool but I am not a fan of J6 "Green Go". I find it is a strange shade of green I just don't find cool. I had a 69 Bee that was Y3 (Cream). It looked pretty good with a light brown top and interior but I never found it all that attractive. Kind of a love/hate.

I'm thinking about the '70 Coronet 500. Although it's a very original car The cream color is not great for resale.
Re ^^ this model, a quite unpopular style. But it has grown on me very much over the years. In particular, I spotted one BLACK with painted bumpers and the look absolutely floored me with its sinister image. ( Edit: I found it, here:

I'd ditch that lower spoiler, though )

My pick for resale after eliminating the colors SteveSS already stated

1) Black if you can live with it
2) B5 blue
3) Red

There are as many "correct" answers to this question as there are colors produced over the run of the body styles.

However, a thorough examination of sold prices could reveal trends. Note- this is also a moving target.

If I had to bet money- "resale" red.

Actually- the "rating" for the film "I Am Curious" was - "Yellow".

It was a foreign film and they used a color coded rating system.

There are other versions of the film, rated in different colors.
