notice there's no option for hose clamp...cuz even I know they are junk.

I use the crimp style. Works for me. :icon_thumleft:

Hard to beat worm gears but they're ugly to look at. I've been using all AN fittings and braided hoses just to clean things up plus you can easily unhook them without messing with rubber hoses.

"The short answer is they all work when properly applied. The spring clamps are production oriented and the gear or screw clamps are typically aftermarket replacements."

^^ this

An fittings first then crimps would be 2nd for me

The only choice of the above that I've NEVER seen leak, is a crimp. the hose rotted or broken beyond a crimp clamp....but never seen a crimp fail.

Not sure which would actually be the most effective, but I prefer and use the crimp style on my classic Mopars.

I started using the EFI clamps this year on fuel, power steering, vacuum and other small stuff. Using the stock style spring clamps on the big stuff mainly for the originality look. I find the EFI clamps work really good but are size specific so you have to either get the right size every time or to save money get a large assortment.

Hard to see but a 3/8" efi clamp on the fuel line by the carb.

I too like the EFI clamps. The trick is to buy good ones. I picked some up at Wal-Mart and got what I payed for.....Failure !!!
