What is the UNofficial FBBO policy toward meme threads?

I received a gracious and fair response from Cranky today.
There is no standing order to dump any meme thread. There is a policy of halting any thread that gets out of bounds and threatens to go haywire.

Haywire here…. Did someone summons me or are you looking for my brother Mayhem? … Or maybe my cousin Chaos?

Starting you own thread is like the beginning of sex. Then you post and everyone else posts and everyone feels good. Finally everyone gets real excited and right at the edge and then when no one can take it any more, it gets pulled and then you start all over with the foreplay which is a new thread. The biggest problem with a thread like a meme thread is that it grows so fast that if 1 or 2 and sometimes more mods ain't on top of it, it can get out of hand fairly fast. There have been days when I'm not on the net much at all and usually on those days I check the reported posts area when I see the red flag but some think it's wrong to 'snitch' on others while others think nothing is being done about it as soon as they report something so they get to where they don't bother. Kinda like real life lol

It’s one cry baby that’s whining IMO because he believes the meme thread is his claim to fame on FBBO and FABO and he is “BUTT HURT” and Joey finally saw the uselessness of the thread and took it down.
Maybe Joey will see the light and take down the Political Forum since it’s also useless, except to promote anger and hatred amongst Americans. Car forums should be about cars.

Take a look on how many FBBO members that post on the Political Forum. Maybe 15 post on a daily basis, Another 15-20 post on a weekly basis and maybe less than a 100 different FBBO members have ever posted on the PF. If your political views or assessment doesn’t agree with the 30 or so PF base members they become hostile using name calling, bullying, and backdoor members with their buddy moderators and getting members banned because they fired back.

There’s plenty of Political Web sites, Blogs and Forums catering to the Proud Boys, Oath keepers, Qanon, White Supremacy and groups alike that they can spend their time.

You know, that is a private forum that you specifically request access to. Why not have your access terminated? Then you won't have all those hurt feelings.

Here's an even better idea. Leave and start your own "car site". Then it can be suited to YOUR views and YOUR feelings and you'll have total control.
Honestly for someone that's had such a beef with this place for so long I'm surprised you still come around.

I don’t have a beef with FBBO. A lot of greats folks on this site.
