What is this?

what goes into or out of all those holes in the wall... nothing... the panel just covers it all up?... arm rest for sure but what else were those holes put there for?

Pretty much the inner portion of that panel is used on several cars. Hard top, Post, Dodge,Plymouth its justa standard panel used when its built. Why have 200 different panels when you can use one for all cars.
