Been researching thermal fans and brake booster for the Tukvan. Resin for the fuel tank for the XS400. Rear shock for the Triumph Trophy. Collapsible fishing rod for Shirley when in her kayak. And getting food ready for the mob for tomorrow.
We are off for CCC, which is inappropriate slang for Chinese food. We are often the only Pakeha folks there.

I ordered a bunch of miscellaneous window and trim parts from Detroit Muscle. I have some stuff on order from Mancini Racing, but I’m convinced they don’t have anything in stock. They take months to get things shipped.

I ordered my 3.75 B engine stroker crank and rods with bushings for my 361 stroker project. Making a list for my next Holley order, SFI seat belts, head sock, and shoes. Fuel pump module for one of the mustang projects.

Kicker CS series 6x9 speakers, behind the seat truck speaker boxes and an antenna for the GPS speedo to replace the one that I accidentally cut the co-ax on a couple days ago.

I ordered a set of stainless steel fuel and return lines. I had been trying to order them for awhile from various sources. Inline tube refused to ship to Hawaii. Other places wanted $500-700 dollars for shipping. Even summit racing wanted $500 to ship. I noticed the lines from summit were from Classic Tube in New York. Their website said to call for shipping to Hawaii. So I called their sales man Jeff answered. I told him what I wanted, he took my phone # and said to give him a little while to check with his shipping deptmart for the best price, he called me back in 30 minutes, and said if the put an extra bend in the lines, they could put them in a smaller box and ship them USPS for $140. So I ordered them. Shout out to Classic Tube for great customer service.

didn't buy it but boy am I tempted, check out this gorgeous shifter for a 727, trans for display may not be a 727 as they make them for a lot of trans

I received Billy Godbold's cam book. Time to get re educated on bumpsticks and what else is part of the system. The last time I read anything on cams was an old Peterson tech book when I was in high school around 73/74. Basic Cams, Valves and Exhaust Systems.

Where do you find these old parts? Old inventories from shops being closed?

Where do you find these old parts? Old inventories from shops being closed?
Mostly from scouring eBay to find the old parts. Some of those listings are from sellers that buy closed store/shop inventory. Also, sometimes, flea market, thrift stores, etc. can have some. Swap meets and/or car shows too when I used to go, but I haven't visited those in years. There are also some online sellers that specialize in surplus stuff such as Spark Surplus (who also sells on eBay).
