What sealant yo use

What sealant do I use on the two plugs at the bottom of the block when I drain the coolant? Just regular pipe dope or is there something that’s more heat resistant?

Screw in plugs? Pipe thread sealant is what I use.

I like Permatex #2 for engine pipe threads.

White Teflon thread sealer. Never leaks. Fights thread corosion.
