What's everything I need around the inside and outside of the front windshield?

Hi everyone, my 68 Charger came to me as a nice clean shell with a (very) few spare parts in the trunk. I've not had one before and am seeking guidance on what I'll need to get at least the front windshield area done. There's no windshield, seal or clips. I don't know what clips I need. I presume there are some for the stainless trim but is that all?I've got some stainless steel trims but i think I'm missing a bit or two. Moving to the inside, I've got those plastic pillar trims and the dash pad. I understand there's some larger clips that must go in before the glass. Are they for mounting the pillar trims?

I'd be very grateful to hear from those with experience in this area so I can start getting an idea on what's needed, what to avoid in the way of reproduction stuff (I've read that some clips have issues) so I can start gathering what I'll need. Many thanks in advance for your help.

You need to search for some members restoration projects and do some reading and picture viewing. All 68-70 B-bodys are pretty much the same in the cowl, dash, windshield areas.

Thank you! I have noticed a trim running across the front edge of the headliner doing just that.

Before you deal with the windshield be sure all of your dash work is complete. As in installed and you don't have to remove the dash any more.

You are going to want the dash, vinyl top and headliner installed before the windshield and back glass. The stainless trim is held by clip that are screwed to the body. These must be installed before the glass. Short clips on side and top. Long clips on the bottom. Windshield is held in by a rubber gasket and You must also use a sealant.
Inside a pillar moldings use screws. The inside top molding is screwed into clips that snap into holes in the inside roof frame.
