For Hemi cars in '66, a 14x5.5 steel wheel was standard, with Goodyear Blue Streak tires.

I’m a few days late, but Saturday I fired up a car to go to the first local cruise of the season. It started with a minimum of coaxing after nearly 6 months which was nice.
But soon after pulling out into my driveway I noticed it leaking coolant, and discovered the heater hose shutoff valve decided to fail over the winter. It’s one of those OEM Bakelite ones destined to crack, I was lucky it lasted 7 years I guess.
So the 2025 show season starts on an off note for me!

Notice it has C-body full size 15" wheel discs on it. Owner said it was coded for 15" Recall wheels.

I know the Daytona came out later after Recall wheels were stopped on production line.

But was the Charger 500 out right at beginning of model year?

Great cruise over to Wasaga Beach and what a well run gig. Wow what a turn out, over 250 cars! Thanks to the Wasaga Beach Cruisers for running a nice clean event and Napoleon Home Comfort and Michelle & Rick Seip for the hardware for our 69 Bee and 70 Superbird. Only thing better would have been winning the 50/50 for the trifecta!

It doesn't get any better, family, friends and cars!! You represented our car community well and congrats on a big win!!! At least my Dart didn't get drooled all over. I hate when that happens...... Thanks for sharing!!

My brother, 7 years old than me, got his first Cream 8 tracks in the late 60's. I can still hear it in his 67 Dart. Be safe today!!

I almost drove one of mine into work this morning also. However, I didn't wake up early enough to do the driveway shuffle to dig one of them out of the garage. I have to move 3 vehicles no matter which side of the garage I choose.

I live on top of a 1600' mountain.

MY weather shows flood warnings, and has for the last 4 days.
