Where did you and your car go today

About 50 feet, so I could clean the disaster that is my garage....

Spent too much time on house junk yesterday, so drove the 'Net around to run an errand and get a sugary coffee drink.

Nothing to see here but a bunch of environmentally conscious cars:

Then tested out the new console, need to stabilize it

I agree, I do that but mine isn't really nice even tho I do still worry someone will steal it. Its cool seeing nice examples out and about.
Never tell me yours isn't nice. Anytime someone sacrifices to own a car, it's nice, be proud!!

Thanks. I'm as proud of it as any car I've had, including the shiny ones. I look at it as a different tier, more the Roadkill level. I love it just as much, but I don't worry about shopping carts dinging it as much. That alone makes it more enjoyable, constant worry over a shiny black Scat Pack ruined a lot of my fun.

It's called smiles per miles. It comes from a feeling, not a paint job. I think you have it figured out!! Enjoy and be safe!

That's a nice truck! I enjoyed those years, I had two. Not quite that stout though, they were 360, 1/2 tons.
Thanks - sitting at 285k miles now. Cummins/six speed stick/4x4.

I put a clutch in it at 250k.

I have rockers and cab corners that I need to get put on (I should have learned how to weld...), but other than that, no complaints. 20mpg like clockwork!

Having them is almost like they're on, in my mind. As long as it doesn't spread pass the replacements, you're good as gold till you decide. I've built whole cars and never knew how to do anymore than tack weld, a friend always did that for me. I'd cut it out, fabricate it, tack it in, and he'd come by and sew it up. He left his tig welder at my house for months at a time and I still didn't learn. LOL. Sounds like it's been a good truck. If you follow the book and do as they recommend, when they recommend it, they'll run a long time. You take good care of your stuff, that's obvious.

I went today to pay for my car, take it for a ride and left it and a list of other things I want done. If I told you this thing handles Like a go cart, you won't believe it, total day and night difference, incredible. He called it Mopar Monday!! As soon as he reassembles the Challenger, a photo shoot with the three will happen.

The car was down for a bit with a bad oil pump , but I got it back up and running just in time for our church’s trunk or treat ! Sorry, no pics at the event, I was busy letting kids take pictures in it and handing out candy

Car show season has pretty well come to an end, here in southern Ontario. So, here are some pictures from a word-of mouth private show that I was invited to. One of my friends that lives around the corner from me. He was surprised he had over 60 cars there.

More. Bronze '65 Satellite has a Mopar Perfomance 360 Crate Motor in it, and runs 13.20's. His brother-in-law, Ross, has the red '67 Belvedere II, with a 273 in it, now. He is building a 408 stroker for it. He used to have a dark green '67 Belvedere that ran 8.90's, but he broke it at Norwalk one year. Not the motor, but the whole damn car!

More. The Caprice Estate wagon with the supercharged Corvette motor in it is a real sleeper! Last car is a Canadian-built '68 Pontiac Beaumont SD with a 396 in it. Pontiac dealers sold these up here in place of much more expensive GTO's (tariffs).

You didn't say you needed someone to drive one of your cars there Dave, I would have volunteered!

I leap-frogged them. I would drive one about a quarter of a mile, and then walk back to drive the other one up to where the first one was. Repeated this, until both cars were there. Pete only lives about 2 miles away, and it only took me a couple of hours to get there! (Actually, Wifey drove the R/T there.) LOL
