Check with your glass hood maker.

I am using stock hinges/springs with mine, no problems so far. It is an AAR/stinger six pack hood with AMD replacement hinges.

Some glass hoods are stronger than others. I would check with manufacturer.

^^^^^this. I'm Using stock hinges with my Glasstek fiberglass hood and got the springs from Glasstek as well.

hi I check Glasstek they don't have light weight springs for my 69 GTX thanks anyway
